Core Bank Breaks Ground on New Omaha Headquarters

Core Bank has exciting news to share!
Today we held a groundbreaking ceremony to announce the construction of new bank headquarters. The new location at 17807 Burke Street will serve as headquarters for our Omaha and Bellevue banking centers, along with our new loan production office in Overland Park, KS.
“This is an investment and commitment to the community in which we do business,” says President and CEO John Sorrell. “It will create synergies and efficiencies for our company and customers.”
Core Bank’s new headquarters will consolidate portions of the 24,000 square feet of space we’re currently occupying throughout the Omaha metro. The new building will have four floors and 60,000 square feet of space, allowing us to grow more over the next ten years.

Our eighth Omaha metro bank branch will be housed in the building’s lobby and will serve as our main branch. On the second and third floors, we’ll have office space for our non-branch and corporate employees, including banking business units within cash management, trust, mortgage, construction, and business lending services. And the fourth floor will be leased to a third-party company.
“This new space allows us to continue what we’ve been working on for the last several years,” John says. “This sets us up for a ten-year plan for growing our presence and expertise in Omaha and expansion in other Midwest markets, and allows us to invest in our team and employees by providing them with a productive, secure work environment designed with collaboration in mind.”

At Core Bank, we want to be a truly remarkable company that just happens to be a bank, and we feel our new headquarters will fully embrace this vision by providing amenities that go above and beyond for both our bank customers and our employees.
We’ll have innovative, interactive technology throughout the building that will help us improve our efficiency and make banking easier for our clients. We’ll also have a specialty coffee shop, a workout room available as part of our Core Bank Wellness Program, and a community space for internal and public events.
We can’t wait to move into our new space in winter 2018!
